Sittin up in bed this evening, not feeling tired a few thoughts came to me. I do not know who will come to read this article that i am posting up but i am sure that it will be one that will spark questions, in particular your mind.

The topic for tonight is porn addiction. Yes, the most uncomfortable of all topics. I feel so embarrased to talk about this topic but i think it is something which should be thrown out there to the general public and in particular should be one that should spark some controversy.Really we must first ask ourselves..."What is pornography"? What comes to mind is that pornography is simply the displaying of images and material of people exposing themselves in a manner in order to project some sought of arousment in the viewer. This may be the most poorest of examples but it the best one I can come up with at the moment.

Then why do we look at it? Well the majority of people, prodominately men would have to say that they view it because they obtain pleasure from it. IN other words "auto eroticism". It helps stimulate, sexually arousing them, helping them in "relieving stress" or "relieving tension build up". This, to the common male who views pornography is almost a basic outline of why it is done. What men do not understand is how addictive pornography is. A habbit is a repeated action, therefore repeating the action of viewing pornography and stimulating oneself in all manners, can become a habbit. It can become a habbit to the point that we sometimes do not realise it ourselves. We become like robots, repeating over and over these actions.

Pornography is an issue, one that should not be left under the carpet to stay, but must be cleaned up. We must come to sime sought of understanding of what is going on behind the scenes of the pornography industy, to see that the people that are posing on the screen are not just actors, they are real people, people that have jobs and some of these people that are having their photos taken are doing it all in the name of making ends meat. People resort to the pornography industry because they have no where else to go and make money.

I will go no further, i am sure you get the gist.

The second thing that i would like to talk about is how much pornography can ruin ones life. It can ruin your personal life in many ways. Addiction can get so bad that one becomes unsocial, and all you think about is how fast you can get to your room, turn the computer on and sexually stimulate yourself. We can isolate ourselves from our friends to the point that our friendships begin to break up.  Family life can take a terrible fall.

There are ways curing this. Before i do that please post any comments and I will continue.
